I don't know if it is just those from the North, because I run into a lot of Southerners who look like the cows they raise when they are eating. It is basically about manners though. I am really rude to someone when they smack. I either say something, or if we are friends, family etc. and you smack in a restaurant I will get up and leave you. It's that serious.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30400181.post-1155153149221053062006-08-09T14:52:00.000-05:002006-08-09T14:52:00.000-05:002006-08-09T14:52:00.000-05:00Smacking food is definitely in my TOP 5 pet peeves...Smacking food is definitely in my TOP 5 pet peeves of all time!

I believe when people smack their food it reveals several things about their character. One, they are not self-aware. Two, they are not concerned with other people. And three, they grew up somewhere up North because they don't teach manners up there.

If I'm with someone and they're smacking their food, they'll definitely get a "Chew It Don't Smack It" from me!Tim Smithhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05889525853793804645noreply@blogger.com
