Nashville is a Viral Market

I can count about 15 blogs that I read, who have talked about the frustrations of getting gas in Nashville during the past week. Apparently, someone spread fear into the heart and souls of Music City citizens with the approach of hurricane Ike sending thousands to the gas pumps when they weren't at risk of running out. Thus, actually causing a shortage. Then as everyone ran out of gas, everyone blogged about it...right Troy?

I interrupt to provide you a
link to a HILARIOUS video on the gas shortage.

So, my conclusion is that Nashville is a very well connected city. As a lot of people say, it's "a big city with the small town feel." It doesn't take long for news to travel here. It wouldn't surprise me if most people read the Tennessean everyday just to see if they got the story right. It's just a hunch, but if you want to do some viral marketing or word-of-mouth, consider Nashville. Whether they like the situation or not, they'll blog about it.

If you still don't believe me, check out a few of the Nashville blogs I recently read who have year booked themselves...Nashville is viral.
Are there more? There will be.
