Car Boards for Match Box & Hot Wheels
My mom use to paint boards for us to play with our Match Box cars and Hot Wheels on. I spent hours in the floor with my bucket of cars. She even painted one for a lot of our cousins, so we could put our boards together to make bigger towns to drive on. I have a lot of memories because she made her ideas come to life.
Today is her birthday. I'm sad she's no longer here. But instead of giving a gift to her, I recently took her idea and hope to give the same kinds of memories to my kids. Here's what I recently did for my little boy. It was a lot of fun to paint this.

I am thinking of doing more of these and selling them. Anybody want to buy one?

How cool. What a fun legacy to leave and pass on to your kids.c
I think I want to buy one for myself.
I used to do the same thing with big rolls of paper my dad would bring home from work... mine were never that cool.
How cool. How long did this one take you?
This was the first one I did. It took me about 5 hours. I think I could do one in 2-3 if I didn't have a 2 year old distraction.
Wow, that is super cool!!
What a great tribute to your mom.
I cherish the memories that I have of playing with you in your basement with your matchbox cars. I know you miss her! She was a special person...we all miss her very much!
Sure, Ben, I would buy one. I hope to have grandkids SOMEDAY....
Wonderful.

Thanks for sharing this with us Ben.
Hope you have a great week!
