What would you buy next?
I really like Amazon. As an online store they really make shopping personal and fun for me. I'll admit that it took me a while to warm up and trust them to the point that I am fully engrossed in all of their tools.
Their site really strives to learn my preferences and the things I like, which I appreciate. However, sometimes I find it humorous what is served up for me to view. For example, I was viewing the Kindle, an electronic wireless device that allows you to download and read books, newspapers, and more. Then as Amazon does best, they showed me what other customers buy after viewing the Kindle. Take a look at the screen shot below.
The Potty Train? Really? Maybe Kindle should add that to it's 150,000 book database.

LOL. Wow. And all the other things customers bought were ALL potty books. Seriously, are THAT many people buying an electronic reading device AND books about poop? ha.
I'm going to take a wild guess. I went to view the viewer and then went to the page that showed what others who viewed the item also bought. I didn't get potty books.
I wonder if it tied a visit you made when you wrote this in your blog http://www.petpeeving.com/2008/07/potty-train.html
and it somehow extrapolated that visit and link from that post to your recent view of the Kindle device.
Yeah, that is as best that I can tell too Chris. It even gives you the ability to edit your preferences so that it will serve up other suggestions. It just looks off at first glance.
I don't know. Have you been reading and/or reviewing more potty books than the normal person?
I tend to like and follow up on your choices. But this may skew my opinion going forward. :)
