MacGyver vs. A-Team: You Decide

I was reading Seth Godin's post this morning, I need to build a house, what kind of hammer should I buy? He made the following statement.
"Sure, picking the wrong tools will really cripple your launch. Picking the wrong software (or the wrong hammer) is a hassle. But nothing great gets built just because you have the right tools."He's right. It's not about the tools, but how you use the tools you have. Immediately, MacGyver and the A-Team came to mind. All of them had a way of getting out of a mess with limited resources. So here's my question.
If you were being held captive with one or the other who would you rather have to help you escape and why? McGyver or the A-Team?

If you were captured with MacGyver, you couldn't help in the escape attempt without looking like a completely clueless imbecile. "Uh ... uh, yeah! Yeah, that's what I would have done, Mac! While you're picking the lock with that Q-tip and a belt, I'll take my shoelaces off and fashion them into a crude spear for protection."
If you were captured with the A-Team, you'd look like a laughably pathetic wuss no matter what role you played in the breakout. You would really BE a fool needed to be pitied.
If you were captured with both, everyone would be trembling in fear and wondering "I wonder what's taking Chuck Norris so long ..."
I'd say put me with the A-Team. Might as well get to watch crap being blown up.
That's a really good point about being MacGyver's helpless sidekick. Hannibal would probably at least give you a gun and say something like "Go have fun!"
MacGyver would never give you a gun.
Wow, I have to choose between 2 of my childhood heroes?! That may send a wrecking ball thru all those fond memories.
Hmmm. I guess, if forced to select one, I'd go with the A-Team b/c there's four of them, and Mr. T has the brute force thing on his side. With MacGyver I always felt that someone should wise up and lock that dude in an empty room. Put him in a straight jacket in an asylum or something. I guess even at 10 years old I questioned the logic of leaving the world's most resourceful man in a room with gas cans and safety pins and small objects that could somehow defuse the bomb with 1 second till sayonara or unpick the handcuffs or loosen the hand/leg ropes. (Ok, i may not have been surprised by each escape, but I was exhilirated!)
Let me also clarify...either choice will allow you to escape. It's just a matter of "how" you want to escape.
Definitely MacGyver!! The guy could use anything to resolve the situation. Plus, he's pretty easy on the eyes! I would have no problem sitting back and watching him be my hero!!
I've found it useful when I'm having difficulty answering hypothetical questions such as these to add zombies to the equation and see how it changes things.
So the real question is, "If you were being held captive by zombies and had to choose between the A-Team and MacGyver, which would you choose."
That makes things pretty clear: the A-Team. Zombies don't use bombs or locked doors. MacGyver's skills would be useless against their biting, clawing, surging masses. You would need guns, explosives, raw brute force, and a "no mercy" attitude. A-Team for the win.
The A Team - Because Mr T is my hero! (I really use to tell people that and was very serious!) How Funny!
