Lost has lost me
Last night as I was watching Lost, I fell asleep. What did I miss? Nothing. The show has become a long running soap opera with no ending. Put a guy in camo, blow a few things up, and put it all on the set of "As the World Turns", and you have "Lost". There are just too many story lines now and several of them, I don't really like. The only thing keeping me interested is the fact that we don't know what the island is.
I'm tired of investing my time in this show. It isn't giving me anything in return but frustration. The mystery I had in the show has been replaced by other things in life now. When the show started, my son was not even born. He will soon turn two and we still don't know for certain what is going on. I'm sorry but it's time that I leave this "island". If it's on and I am handy, maybe I will watch it still, but I am not going out of my way to watch it.
So, as soon as somebody learns what the island is all about let me know. That's all I care about anymore, and it's not worth watching to find out. Now, please be kind to me in your response. I don't fault you for still watching.

Ben Forrest! It is a SIN to fall asleep during Lost!
I am still a faithful and committed one! It is one of the most well-written and intriguing shows ever! Since they do have an end date, they will wrap it up sooner or later ... more like later. I'm staying committed!
If it's on and I am handy, maybe I will watch it...
Good luck with that. Miss an episode, and you miss some nonsensical drivel that will explain some later nonsensical drivel. I tried picking things up in the middle once, under pressure from my peers. It was not possible.
Might as well swear it off for life. We can start a support group if you'd like, PFNWLA: Persecuted For Not Watching Lost Anonymous.
Get your priorities in order! Thursday night our house was hit by a tornado. We had lots of damage and no power until mid-afternoon Friday. After spending most of Saturday picking up debris, it was with great pleasure that I sat with my wife in front of my laptop watching the episode of LOST that we missed due to the untimely tornado. I for one, realize the importance of not missing a single episode! Be strong, Jack needs our support!!

Sorry, Ben! I knew I shouldn't have shown my parents that post!! he he!
:-)
I am sorry to hear about the damage you had from the Tornado. Yikes. There may be irony here. It could be that Jack is having a kind of Dorothy experience from being tossed up in a twister.
