Training for the Country Music 1/2 Marathon

Below is my training log for the Country Music Half Marathon on April 26, 2008. Completing it is one of my 2008 goals. I am just aiming at finishing it since this is my first. I hope to run the whole thing, but walking it is not out of the question.

Here is the training program I am going to attempt to follow. I found it and some other good tips here. Basically, I need to be up to 3 miles by February 18.

I got a pedometer for christmas and I love it. It motivates me to move during the day, to step away from the desk for a few minutes and walk.
